We’re delighted to introduce a brand-new ritual at Sauna Hetta. Our Sauna & Spa sessions offer a deeper and more indulgent way to unwind, combining the heat of the sauna with a curated menu of locally made natural cleansing and skincare products.

These sessions take place inside our beautiful Calico Barn, where you’ll be welcomed in and guided through a selection of products including cleansers, clay masks, balms and aromatic spritzes. Begin with a sauna and cool down in one of our cold plunge baths or under the outdoor shower, then make your way to your own dedicated space at the spa bar to use the products.

Outside, the festoon-lit verandah offers another place to pause. You’re welcome to toast a marshmallow over the fire pit or step out to feel the fresh coastal air between rounds. Hot drinks and sweet treats are available throughout your two-hour session, and with Druridge Bay just moments away, you’re also free to wander over to the beach for a dip or a moment of calm whenever you choose.

If you’re booking the experience as a gift, or if you’d like to keep the spa element a surprise, you can add robe, hammam towel and slipper hire to your reservation so the only thing needed is swimwear.

This new offering is designed to be both restorative and playful—a chance to slow down, explore natural products, and enjoy the soothing warmth of sauna in an entirely new way. Let the ritual unfold however feels right for you.

What to Expect

• Beautiful local apocethary products with a choice of cleanser, mask, balm and spritz as well as optional hair products

• Soothing wood-fired heat with the option for cold dips in our plunge baths

• Cold plunge baths to help you reset

• A peaceful, relaxing atmosphere to take time out for yourself

• Complimentary hot drinks and toasting marshmallows with a bar menu of drinks available to purchase

Gift It

These sessions are perfect as a gift. Simply book onto a session of your choice (this can be changed if the date is not suitable). There is the option to add on robe, towel and slipper hire if you with to truly surprise your guests - just remember to pack your swimwear!

There are changing facilities in Calico Barn that are available to Sauna & Spa users. The facilities within Calico Barn are for sauna & spa users only and to aide in relaxation we do not allow non-spa users in while sessions are taking place but accompanying guests are welcome to head to the beach for walks.

Sauna & Spa sessions are shared with up to 12 people. Private bookings are possible with a minimum number of 6 guests.
