Three festive baking sessions. One very lovely way to get ready for Christmas.
This winter, Georgia — our pastry chef and Sauna Hetta guide — is bringing a little Christmas magic to The Barn on The Bay with our special Christmas Bake Club.
We're slowing things down and doing Christmas baking properly. From making your own Christmas cake and mincemeat to decorating your cake and baking homemade mince pies, we've got three lovely sessions planned in the run-up to Christmas.
No baking experience needed! Georgia will guide you through everything, with all ingredients and equipment provided.
And Bake Club is as much about the social side as it is the baking. Come on your own, bring a friend, meet new people and enjoy a little festive time out.
SUNDAY 8 NOVEMBER — CHRISTMAS CAKE CLUB
£95 per person
We're starting with the big one!
Join Georgia in the Calico Barn kitchen to make your very own traditional Christmas cake from scratch.
While the cakes bake, we'll be making homemade Christmas mincemeat, ready for our mince pie session nearer Christmas.
Sauna Hetta sessions will be available to book separately throughout the day, so you can choose to enjoy a wood-fired sauna or simply gather around the fire with a coffee and a good natter while your cake bakes and cools.
You'll head home with your own Christmas cake, homemade mincemeat and Georgia's instructions for feeding and maturing your cake ready for Christmas.
WEDNESDAY 9 DECEMBER — CHRISTMAS CAKE DECORATING
£55 per person
It's time to bring your Christmas cake back to the barn!
Join Georgia for a cosy evening of marzipanning, icing and decorating your cake, ready to take pride of place on your Christmas table.
Whether you keep things beautifully simple or go all out with the decorations, Georgia will be on hand with plenty of tips and guidance.
No experience necessary — just come along and enjoy a relaxed festive evening.
WEDNESDAY 16 DECEMBER — MINCE PIE CLUB
£35 per person
It's not Christmas without homemade mince pies!
For our final festive Bake Club, we'll be getting together to turn our homemade mincemeat into delicious mince pies.
If you joined us for Christmas Cake Club, bring along the mincemeat you made. If you're joining us for the first time, you're just as welcome! We'll send you Georgia's recipe in advance, or you can use mincemeat provided on the night.
Expect a relaxed evening of baking, festive music, hot drinks and plenty of Christmas cheer.
MAKE A CHRISTMAS TRADITION OF IT
Book all three sessions and get a free 30 minute sauna at each event. While the cakes are baking in the oven you can bake in the sauna.

With just 12 places per session, we're keeping things small, friendly and relaxed, with plenty of time to learn, chat and enjoy the experience.
